    Because the academic and networking benefits of pursuing an advanced degree can be so significant, St. John’s offers opportunities for students to help minimize the financial strains that often accompany such pursuit.

    FINANCIAL AID
    Entering graduate students seeking financial assistance from any federal or institutional sources of funding should file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov using St. John’s federal school code 002823.

    ASSISTANTSHIPS & FELLOWSHIPS
    A limited number of graduate assistantships and University fellowships are granted to various academic departments with each school and college of the University. Learn more here.

    MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
    A limited number of merit-based scholarships are available to first-year graduate students who enroll in specified St. John’s graduate level master’s degree programs. See the list here.

    YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM
    St. John’s is a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a Department of Veteran’s Affairs program that provides financial assistance and academic support to post-9/11 veterans pursuing higher education. Go here to learn more.
